How this is measured
A position is only assigned when at least two independent public sources — academic studies, the media regulator ERC, international raters — place the outlet on the left-right axis, and the project’s editor signs the dossier. Outlets for which the searches found nothing stay unrated, and every search is logged with its date so it is not repeated needlessly. The rest of the method is on the methodology page.
